Honoring the Land Trail Ambassador Program

Description: Ambassadors volunteer their time at popular trailheads and hiking the trails of the Monument to educate recreators about how to minimize their impact.

Purpose: Trail Ambassador volunteers are representatives of Grand Staircase Escalante Partners (GSEP) and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and are focused on educating people who visit GSENM about how to minimize their impact on the Monument

Role: Trail Ambassador opportunities come in two flavors: setting up at a trailhead or hiking along the trail, both of which are important strategies for reaching visitors. Ambassadors can do either or both of these types of visitor engagement.
