Boulder Arts Council

April 4, 2022 - May 31, 2022

The Boulder Arts Council will once again be sponsoring the Poem a Day in honor of Poetry Month.  We are seeking poems written by any interested community members.  We will share one of these poems each day during April on the Pegboard.  Any additional poems will be shared on our Facebook page or website and the entire collection may be shared in an electronic or paper publication.  Please send your poems to our email.

Save this date: Saturday after dark on April 23rd, Boulder Arts Council will partner with the Utah Humanities Council for “Humanities in the Wild – Stargazing”.  This program teams a scientist, Crystal White of Astronomy Tours of Moab and humanitarian, Larry Cesspooch, Ute Native Storyteller together to talk about the night sky of Boulder.  This event is free and open to the public.  Location and meeting time will be shared at a later date.

Gallery exhibit:  The Utah Arts and Museums Traveling Exhibit –  Through Toil and Labor: the Forgotten History of Utah’s Chinese Railroad Workers will be on exhibit in the community gallery from April 19th through May 31st.

Don’t forget the opening for the exhibit “Art at Home” will be held this Saturday, March 26th from 12pm to 1pm.  There are also still a few spaces open for the “Mending Matters” workshop held that day from 9am to 12pm.  Sign up on our website.  https://www.boulderartscouncil.com/
