Professional Development Opportunities:

Fund for Teachers Fellowship: Fund for Teachers provides educators, possessing a broad vision of what it means to teach and learn, the resources needed to pursue self-designed professional learning experiences. FFT grants are used for an unlimited variety of projects; all designed to create enhanced learning environments for teachers, their students and their school communities. 

Grants in Place: Fellowship program for teachers teaching in rural areas that funds a place-based learning project and fellow professional development.

Climate Change Science Essentials: This free online course offered by USU extension examines the scientific underpinnings from which critical knowledge of climate has emerged. The course provides integral foundational information to understanding climate processes and systems.

Summer Camps:

Color Country Natural Resource Camp: This 5-day camp occurring in late spring is designed to introduce high school students to natural resource career fields and a variety of outdoor recreation activities. The application deadline is typically in April.
