Outdoor Laboratory High School Education (Web-based; 7th -12th grades)

Partners was an integral component in the creation of the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument's high school educational website featuring their Outdoor Laboratory; we provided an intern who turned the print teacher and student resources into the online version's content. This program highlights the five themes for which this Monument was established: archaeology, geology, paleontology, ecology, and history; standards-based activities begin in the classroom and guide students and teachers through intriguing investigations that lead into the field. Activities can be used in science, art, English, math, or any other classroom subject. Creativity and critical thinking skills are emphasized.
